i got a xbox 1s a couple months ago ever since i got it i havent been able to send mesages to my friends i have a clean rep sheet with xbox any idea why im havig this issue?

every time I send a message I can't send messages I keep getting this website error code support.xbox.com/fix-messaging

Update your billing info, add a phone number to your security info and validate it.

After that, delete the profile from your console, download the profile and try again to send a message.

Ever since the Xbox One servers have gone up I've had trouble with messages and other service problems on my Xbox 360. Yeah the One is great, but Microsoft, don't forget about the 360, in which I don't spend $60+ a year on service that requires me to try
10+ tries to send a message. This is absolutely ridiculous.

So sorry didn't get back to you soon, and the account still hasn't been fixed 3 weeks later. I can send messages in any other imaginative way. Smartglass, xbox.com, 360, 360 backwards compatibility... just not through the Xbox One side guide. I have pretty
much stopped playing for the last little bit if the fix ever happens. I am annoyed about this and they wont escalate me.
