    Unable to send messages on Xbox One


    So today (13/11/2016) I was on Xbox then went off my console for around 45 minutes and everything worked fine. When I came back to my console and turned my controller on again, I tried to send a message to my friend and it came up saying the following:

    "Check your account. Messaging isn't working for your account. Go to
    http://support.xbox.com/fix-messaging     to get more information and see how you can fix it."

    I entered in the URL into my web browser but it said that the page had been moved. I then went into a support chat just to make sure that there wasn't any bans on my account or anything like that, and they said it was all clear, and that there was no blocks/suspensions
    on my account. I was quite confused at this point as you can imagine, so any help would be very much appreciated.

    I'm unable to send messages to friend on my Xbox one. I can receive them. Any help would be appreciated

    Message failed to send.

    On Xbox one when I try to send a message it says message failed to send then on message section of Xbox it say we are unable to get your recent messages please try again later.In Xbox app it says that it was unable to connect to the server and on the internet
    it doesn’t work either.It works on Xbox 360 though. Please can someone help thanks.

    Ever since the Xbox One servers have gone up I've had trouble with messages and other service problems on my Xbox 360. Yeah the One is great, but Microsoft, don't forget about the 360, in which I don't spend $60+ a year on service that requires me to try
    10+ tries to send a message. This is absolutely ridiculous.

    So sorry didn't get back to you soon, and the account still hasn't been fixed 3 weeks later. I can send messages in any other imaginative way. Smartglass, xbox.com, 360, 360 backwards compatibility... just not through the Xbox One side guide. I have pretty
    much stopped playing for the last little bit if the fix ever happens. I am annoyed about this and they wont escalate me.
