    I get an error message or it will simply just leave the text sitting in the text box after hitting send. I'm having this issue via my console, Xbox Smartglass on my tablet, phone, etc.

    Unable to send messages on Xbox Live

    I recently made this account and have it downloaded onto my Xbox One console. However, I am still unable to send messages to people on Xbox using my console, Xbox app, and the website. I don't have XBL Gold but I have been consistently reassured by a Microsoft
    support agent that I don't need Gold to send messages. Why am I still unable to send messages with my account?

    This may be a derp question but: How do I download Gears 2, 3 and Judgement?

    To my Xbox account or e-mail? Have people gotten messages already or are they sending them out after New Years?

    I'm still unable to send messages to anyone, I created an alt account with the same settings as my main and its able to send messages perfectly.

    Can you click on your account here on the Xbox website in the upper right corner, and go to your Messages? Are you able to send messages there?

    Do you get an error message when sending messages from your Xbox One? What exactly prevents you from sending messages on your Xbox One?
    I can't send messages on here as it says it's due to my past behavior. Same with my Xbox one and app. I can send them on my 360 but they don't go through. If I play a 360 game on my one the option to message is greyed out.
