    I've read all the related support articles and spoken in multiple occasions to ambassadors, no solution provided. 4 full consecutive weeks of being completely unable to send private messages via Xbox Live or the Windows Xbox App, error displayed simply says "message
    didn't send"    .

    enforcement.xbox.com states "This (type of) suspension blocks an account from accessing any communication features on Xbox Live, including text messages, voice messages, video communications, Skype
    on Xbox One, in-game chat, and party chat. Communications suspensions are issued for a specified temporary duration, often of 1, 7, or 14 days."

    This is clearly not the case for me, and the only thing blocked is text messages, and not other communication features.

    Everything seems to suggest this is NOT due to an enforcement action, I have never received any e-mails regarding a suspension and my activity history reads clear in the enforcement site (which is why I can't even submit a Case Review). I can connect
    to Xbox Live without problems, the internet connection is fine, I do not have a banned friend's profile as main account for my xbox, and I do not have any clue whatsoever as to why this is taking so long to get fixed.

    Would really appreciate help from anyone, I don't understand why this is happening.

    How ironic is this, having spent most of the morning answering posts here in the support forums I now find myself with what I suspect is a communications suspension here on xbox.com. Luckily it's not a major issue for me but still it's a bit of a nuisance.

    Can't send messages

    I had a communication and multiplayer suspension recently which was like 2 weeks long. now it's been a week since the suspension has ended, and everything works fine except messaging and party chat. it still says because of bad behavior I can't send messages
    go do something else, but my suspension has been over for a week

    Hi try signing out and back in again. Also are you sure you dont have a ban or suspension that would prevent sending messages temporarily ?

    Check https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US to see if you have any infringement on your account. You could have a suspension disabling your ability to message.

    It is advised to not retaliate or reply to any message they may send, because whatever you send will be measured against the Code of Conduct on its own; there is no "they started it" defense.
    I know that, yes. The only thing that matters to me is that he is not suspended even when I reported him....

    The Xbox Live Code of Conduct governs how we behave even when others are misbehaving. If you receive a message you perceive as being harassment, use the RBI method - Report the offending message, Block the user who sent it, and Ignore whatever they said.
    It is advised to not retaliate or reply to any message they may send, because whatever you send will be measured against the Code of Conduct on its own; there is no "they started it" defense.
