Unable to send a message on xbox live(console only, stuck on sending)

Hello Aroraakshaj70, if you belong to some Insider ring it can probably be the one that's preventing you from sending messages, the insider's S are different from normal Xbox and more subject to bugs and instabilities.

this is going around on XBL. xbone or 360, gold or silver, doesn't seem to matter and not everyone is affected. my 360 throws a general error message (no code) right after sending the message times out (the wheel spins but msg never gets sent). tech support
is clueless and they went thru the suggestions of power cycling console and router... because it's got to be on my end, right? i have a funny feeling it's the server that is contacted at the moment the messages are supposed to 'send'. however, none of the
folks at support know anything of this, nor could they effect it.

i've power cycled everything

re-downloaded profile

cleared system cache

ran network diagnostics

forwarded all ports listed by MS

not necessarily in that order and nothing has fixed the issue.

TL;DR it's a known problem and MS is likely doing nothing to fix it because the already have your/our monies

Yeah I went through all the troubleshooting with the support agent multiple times and it didn't do anything. The agent wasn't sure why it wasn't working and assured me that their tech team would investigate it and email me once they've figured it out. It's
been 3 days now and I haven't received anything, and I just now tried to open up my messages here on the site and it immediately gives me the "An error has occurred. Please try again later." There's no error code on Xbox.com, the Xbox app, or the console so
I have no idea what's up with it but it truly is frustrating.
