Unable to select Xbox One as home console

Now also tried to delete that xbox from that list, delete my account from the console, add it again and tried setting as home console again.

Still the same error.

Unfortunately it seems that something went wrong in my case then. First of all, the screen shows the option to set a home console, not to unset it like when I tested how this works on other accounts. And the most important thing: game sharing doesn't work.
No one from my family can access my games if I am not logged in.

Also "unknown error" is unlikely a planned response for the home console being already set

It is present on the devices list in https://account.microsoft.com/devices/ like any other device, but it still doesn't allow my family members access games without me
logging in.

Also when I tested that "set as home" functionality on other account the settings page for that account did say that the console was set as home and you could cancel it. It doesn't do that in my case, just throws generic "could not save, please try again
later" messages on every attempt.

Yes, tried that now. Unfortunately doesn't help.

Also tried deleting (not logging out) my account from the console, restarting and adding it again. Still no go.
