    Unable to see Xbox 360 character using Minecraft for Windows 10 beta


    Have Minecraft for Xbox 360 and just bought Minecraft for Windows 10 beta. Minecraft for windows is installed on three of my desktop computers. They see each other, but don't see the character on the Xbox. All characters have Xbox Live, and all three of
    the Minecraft for Windows 10 games are set to "broadcast on Xbox Live" but will not see the character. The Xbox 360 works online for GTA V, and it works to download game updates. It is connected wirelessly to my router/modem as is my smart TV and laptop. They
    work fine. So I don't understand why it cannot see the PC Minecraft games, especially since the PC version claims to be able to see the Xbox version.

    Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

    To clarify, the Windows 10 Beta is actually a version of the Minecraft Pocket Edition. And the only other games you would be able to join would be users who are also using a version of Minecraft Pocket Edition. You can find more information on the official
    support page
    here    .

    It's not possible to play others who are using an Xbox 360 or Xbox One version when using the Windows 10 Beta.

    To play with others on Pocket Edition you'll either need to be playing using Local Multiplayer or have a Minecraft Realms account and you can learn more about that here.

    To leave the Minecraft Beta:

    1. On Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC, sign in with the account that registered for the Minecraft Beta and launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
    2. Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft (or Minecraft for Windows 10 on PC)
    3. Select Manage.
    4. Use the radio button to select Unenroll (Leave this preview), then select Done.
    5. Wait an additional 30-60 minutes after unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
    6. Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft.
