Unable to See my friends/anyone's Custom Gamerpic ?

I recently gotten on one of my old accounts from the original Xbox Era 2003 i would say and everything was going well i added my friends i have now on the account. Everything was smooth until a couple of days ago when i started to see a couple of my friends
profile pictures started to become Xbox Default ones than it became everyone. The weird part was that when i go to their account like and check their feed or achievements their Custom Gamerpic is there so is everyone else's. When i Use another Xbox Account
that is not my old one i can see all the custom gamer pictures that my friends have. Please help this is very silly and i am confused why my Old Account Can't See any Custom Gamerpics

For me ( the one who asked the question ) its been going on for weeks i thought it was because my account is so old or maybe it got banned but i checked my enforcement.xbox and it said i have a perfect record not to sure on what to do brothers

Am i able to upload a custom gamerpic again?

My best guess is yes. I have never heard of anyone being permanently unable to change a gamerpic. Give it some time.

I got it back to normal after using the troubleshooting tips from the other person who responded and fixing around with your privacy settings (I don't remember which settings to fix so a suggestion is to just change as many as you can to see what changes). Mine fully fixed after a day or two of switching back and forth

I’m having the same issue at the moment, I logged onto my Xbox the other day and my custom gamer pic has been removed and all my friends have default gamer pics, my friends can still see my custom gamer pic but I can’t see anyones

Edit: I restarted my console and I can see my custom gamer pic but no one elses
