'Unable to see content' message despite changing settings

My son is going out of his mind as his Xbox One account keeps saying 'unable to see content other people make because of how your account is set up'. We have followed the links provided and changed all the privacy settings exactly as all the other posts
suggest but none of it works. Please sort this for us before he goes mad! We have done every single thing that the Xbox forum has said to do. We need someone to look at this for us please.

Fortnite

Download the Fortnite game. Unable to play. Keep getting the message “you can not see content other people make because of how your account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy & online safety settings on Xbox.com. I have changed all setting to
allow access. Still will not work. Any suggestions?

 

Unable to send or receive messages/game invites

Hey guys, I've been unable to receive messages and game invites for ages now. When I send a message or game invite my friends can't see them despite me getting a message saying they are sent. I've done several hard reboots, my privacy settings are all open
etc.....can't see an answer anywhere, I can't be the only one with this issue. It's extremely frustrating especially as all of my friends now play the ps4 so sending messages to others is vital for my on-line gaming.

Any help would be great.

Sorry to hear about the troubles with this. Can you clarify which content your son is trying to view? If you've opened up his privacy settings from a parent account, please try removing his Xbox One profile from your Xbox One and then add it back.

 

I get this also but for both accounts, his an mine. I will try deleting his account and reconnecting it but that surely cannot be the 'fix' for this!
