Unable to see children's gamer tags in family Privacy & online safety (Minecraft)

If you are unable to change your privacy setting, please check Xbox Support page.

It sounds like you need to alter your childrens' account privacy settings so that only friends can contact them..this should stop this person from contacting them (I would hope anyway). You should be able to do it either on the console or via the Family app thing:

Add members to your Microsoft family

You will need to add this child account to an adult accounts family. you can then follow the instructions on this link to manage the child account's privacy settings :

In that case, log into the adult account that has control over the Family Group.

After that, Select Profile & system > Account > family Once thee, choose your child account Gamer tag Next, go to Privacy & Online Safety -> Xbox Live privacy -> View Details & Customize.

Or you can do that from the website; by signing into the adult account
here. Then Choose your child account Gamer tag . then Select either the
Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab or the Privacy tab. and update the settings that you want to change.
