Unable to see bio and location.

A support representative and I went through all the major steps, and still were unable to solve the problem. We cleared the alternate mac address and removed the account, reinstalled and it still didn't work. I did have a profile/bio ban a while back.

Requesting Removal of my Profile's Details

I changed my bio and location on the Xbox website before I was restricted from doing so, as I am unable to edit my profile from my console. (I don't know why.) I would like my bio and location removed from my profile, please, if it's possible.

Hey Angel of Fate -

For clarification, is the issue that you cannot see your own bio and location or that others cannot? If it's the latter, please double check your privacy settings to be sure that your profile is not set to hidden. Here's the steps on how to do that:

From Xbox One Dashboard, go to Settings on the Xbox One Guide Menu

From Settings, go to 'All Settings'

From 'Account', select 'Privacy & Online Safety'

Select 'Xbox Live privacy'

Select 'View Details and Customize'

Scroll right to, 'Others can see your Xbox profile'

Select desired option

Let us know if that sorts things out!

People cannot see my bio, and i've already gone ahead and checked all my settings. I created an extra account and added it to see if i could see my bio and still could not. Any other reasons?

Hey Angel of Fate! It looks like your public profile is set to offline right now. If you appear online does the Bio and Motto show up for you? Give it a shot and post back to let me know how it goes!

A few things can cause this. Internet type, a ban for previous offence's.

Sometimes it helps to try on the app or the website.
