Unable to save game clips and screen shots

Hi,

I am unable to save game clips and screen shots on my xbox.

When I click on save in Game DVR it give this error "Sorry, none of your selected captures were saved. Please try again." and there is no error code.

I do not have gold membership, and do not wish to upload the clips just want them to be save on my xbox local hard drive, as the unsaved clips and screen shots disappear after a few weeks. Note that I have xbox 1TB with around 50% free disk space.

I have already done POWER CYCLE and CONSOLE RESET but no use. Privacy settings are set properly with support from forum and support staff.

I have tried to search thoroughly on the internet for this problem but in vain. I contacted support but they asked me to contact staff. I contacted staff they asked me to look online.

This query already exists unanswered on this forum: Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

The suggested answer for this is to post up a new thread.

Microsoft kindly give a reasonable response.

Game clips full screen

since the new Xbox one experience update ive been unable to view game clips and screen shots in full screen. I've also been unable to set a friends screenshot as my background. I was hoping this could be noted and added in an upcoming update

Are you perhaps referring to deleting the screen shots that you took with the Game DVR? If so, you can manage these screen shots by navigating to Upload Studio and then select the option to manage your clips. From there, you would
have the option to delete any game clips or screen shots that you have taken.

If you have any other questions in regards to managing your screen shots or game clips, just let us know.

Hello Darkzy, I don't know what procedures you tried on your console, but if you haven't tried a reset, follow the procedures below.

The first is a clear cache

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Sorry for my late responds.

But I had some time saterday and rechecked I was unable to get the screen shots and video clips.

But the Video clips I created within Upload studio worked and could be viewed via the site and OneDrive.

Now After this I installerd SW:TFU II and this one had no issue with screenshots and game videos to the site (Xbox.com) and OneDrive.

I could save theseas normal as every other game.

As both games are from the same publisher I think there is an issue with the first game which needs to be solved.

Could you please recheck this.

Yes there is if you go on to your game DVR there is an option to save clip or screen shot also you can acess it on your pc but you require internet and from there you can save it. Also I think if you sign into xbox.com you can look at your activity feed
and save it from there. Im happy to help out.
