Unable to Save Clips [Upload App]

Hello,

As the title says, I am unable to save. After saying the command "Xbox Record That" the xbox records the clip as usual but then I want to save it, also letting other people see the clip. When I go to save it there is just no option, I press the menu (or
whatever it's called) button and all are there except save.

I thought I can just go to manage clips and then save there but after trying that it says "Sorry, the clip you selected was not saved, Please try again." No error code is given. I can save really old clips when I first got the Xbox One but now I'm just not
able to anymore.

I've tried the basic steps that are in other threads. I have turned off my console and that, I don't want to reformat my console as I've read that it doesn't fix the issue. On other accounts I am able to save clips, I don't understand why I'm not able to.

Please give the following steps a shot:

• From the Home screen, navigate to your profile.
• Select My Profile and then select
  Privacy Settings.
• Select Custom and navigate to See Your Game Clips.
  
• Make sure that either Friends or Everyone is selected.
  
• Keep scrolling to the right and select Game Clips.
• Make sure Allow is selected.

Please give the following steps a try:

• From the Home screen, press the Start button.
• Navigate to Settings and select Preferences.
• Under system and App, verify that Allow Play To streaming is checked.
• Verify that Allow broadcasts and Game DVR uploads is checked.

Those are SOME of the methods I've tried. Not even the other accounts can save clips. This has been going on for a while but it isn't getting any better.

IVe change nothing, ive uploaded clips before or viewed old clips, suddenly those options are gone???

You'll need to go to Upload Studio to edit and then save your clips.

 

I'm pretty sure that's uploading

I wouldn't have the bandwidth to do that and it is really annoying to have to open that laggy application and upload each clip because there main one is faulty

 

So no one knows? Man am I glad I joined Microsoft...

 

Having the same problem. The new xbox is starting to leave me feel xboned.

 

So... there's a limit to the amount of saved clips we can have. If you hit it, that could potentially be causing your issue. It's independent from the unsaved amount (meaning getting rid of unsaved clipdoesn't free up space.). I can't find what the limit
is, or how I can get more space. I make clips because Iwant a digital scrapbook of my experience. I don't have time/patience to go through and edit/upload each 24 second clip that ALREADY LIVES in the cloud. Plus I lose all the views/likes/shares from the
original clip! If anyone knows the secret here, I'd be trilled to find out. I'm going to lose my clips otherwise...

I'm facing the same problem as you. I tried out the game recording function for the first time on Saturday and the save option wasn't available to me... Then for the last 2 days I had the joy to save my clips! I thought it was because I recorded my game
clips through the latest updated snap feature that allows quick access to record, instead of barking at my kinect machine to "record that".

But today it's back to square one...neither clips recorded through voice command or snap feature could be saved.

Then it finally dawn upon me that it was because I activated a 2 day trial code for live gold account...

Shame on you Microsoft...if I have to pay a subscription to save short clips on a 500gb xbox that I paid $550 for...

 

Sorry if I sound disrespectful in my previous post. But I really hope Microsoft can address this in the next update. I don't wanna go through the upload station method as it takes up time and the video seems to become lower res after uploading. It's mind
boggling for us users to simply wanna save our clips (easily) but can't.

 

I am experiencing the same problem. I have 15 clips that are saved, and the rest that aren't and can't be saved. I too was only able to save when I had a gold membership. I don't understand why I can't save the clips to my own Xbox's hard drive without a
membership.

I'd also like to be able to edit and upload clips to my computer without a gold membership, but obviously we need to take everything one step at a time with Microsoft.

 

Same here I'm unable to save my latest clips, neither manually recorded or by the Xbox One itself. Hence no uploading possible! Please update this.

 

Same here. I can record the clip, my privacy settings are ok, I have no other clips savesd, plus I can't see the clips in my profile here in Xbox.com.

 

Whenever i Troy and save a clip, it shows that I said to record the clip, but it doesn't. When I go to Upload to view my clips, they don't load. (I had previous clips)
