Unable to save changes, setting account to home xbox issue

You have to remove yourself from the previous Xbox you have designated as the home one. You can't be on both simultaneously. Also sharing accounts with friends, family etc is really risky and depending how you go about it also against the Xbox TOS. People
lose accounts all the time by doing this and not being careful, Or they become victims of fraud, receive bans etc. If it's just to play a few games during the afternoon I wouldn't do this if I were you.

If you mean that did I set his account as mine home xbox then yes. But he can't set mine account as his.

I am having a problem amd I didn't know how to post this or where.

My Xbox One was on idle, the controller turned off. The screen came back on, it went off of my game, went to the Microsoft Store, and began downloading a free app when I did a hard reset.

I thought we were seeing things at first. Why and how can my Xbox operate without a person?

Is something wrong with it?

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. That is a good start when trying to resolve most any error.
