We're using the same version here and not seeing an option to clear stats, so it's likely this was a typo or a feature that's currently being worked on. The Microsoft Casual Games team actually just came out with a new website that has a link to chat with
a representative about more complex technical issues on the main page
HERE. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with other players in the community, if you'd like to as well. It might be best to post on that page directly for some more insight into this from the Microsoft Casual Games team directly.
