    Unable to remove XBOX user from XBOX One console


    My friend added his account to my XBOX One console, which I do not know the pin to, and for some reason every time I turn on my console it asks to sign into his account, which is getting quite irritating. I want to remove his user account from my console,
    but I don't know his pin or the password to his email, and I have no way to contact him.

    How do I remove his account?

    Hi The_Ascender

    It’s easy to remove any Microsoft account from an Xbox console. Here’s how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.
    3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.
    4. When you're finished, select Close.

    In having the same issue, I'm unable to remove friends/block users, on smartglass, xbox one, or xbox.com

    Hey OP,

    Have you tried removing your current profile from the console and then re-signing in? This seems to fix most of the issues that you are describing. Also in some cases your moderate nat type may be blocking the ports xbox needs to utilize Xbox Live services.
    I would start first by removing the profile and then re-signing in as this is the less evasive and the one that seems to work most often. In either case I have included, articles on both solutions. I hope this helps.
