Unable to remove game

Like the title says, I'm unable to remove games from the Xbox App. I go to the "My Games" tab, I right-click on them and select "Remove from My Games", I then restart the App like instructed on the Support Page (Manage the My Games List in the Xbox App on Windows 10). But
these games (that I do not own and that were never installed) still show up.

OP is saying that the tab that says 250GB on it, that you're supposed to use to pull it out has broken off

its hard drive and i still have console.

I can´t do step 5 in HD remove instructions (5.Pull the tab to remove the hard drive) because i teared it off when i tried to remove HD.

Step 1: Delete Temporary files. This will help delete temporary files that have been stored on your computer.

Click Start and click Settings.

Select System.

Select Storage.

Select This PC.

Click Temporary files.

Choose Temporary files.

Click Remove files.

Step 2: Reset Xbox app from Settings.

Click Start and click Settings.

Select System.

Select Apps & features.

Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.

If the issue persists, I recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app. To do this, you may follow the steps below:

Click start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

Type the following command to uninstall Windows Store: Get-AppxPackage xboxapp | Remove-AppxPackage

Hit Enter. Launch Windows Store again and download Xbox App.

I already tried these 3 steps without any effect.

PENNY99, did you already uninstalled the game from your console, and even then, it stays in your dash?

Assuming that you already uninstall it, try this on your console:

First, clean the cache of your console that way:

1. With the console turned on, hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until you hear a small sound.

2. Wait 10 seconds.

3. Turn it back on.

Note: It may take a while for it to turn on, don't worry, it's normal.

Then, restore your console keeping the games and apps:

***IMPORTANT*** If you share accounts with someone, you will have to redo the process of placing the account as the main one again, be aware of the chances you still have to do this, as Microsoft makes available per year, only 5 chances so you can make some account your console's main account. Make Sure to know all passwords and email addresses of your accounts, you will need to log then back in.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the dashboard.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console Information >

3. Select Reset console > Restore and keep my games and apps.

4. When asked to pull settings from an old Xbox, choose no, thanks

5. You will have to log in to your accounts again, and when you sign in with your account, make sure you turn it has your home console also, that's it.

NOTE: Rest assured, you won't lose games or saves

Identical problem here..Even removed and reinstalled game...Still unable to play...

Hi Peter,

Thanks for coming to the forums. Eventually the device you are unable to remove will fall off. If the console is not registered to your name you are unable to remove it. Personally have a few on my account that I am unable to remove also.
