Unable to remove family restrictions

I am unable to remove family restrictions from my account.. which is preventing me from installing games in the xbox app for windows 10. When I look at the instructions online, I see these as instructions (found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...ft-edge-3034d91e-5efa-9fbe-1384-46009f087ccf)

Visit family.microsoft.com. Sign into your Family Safety account.

Find your family member's name and click More options > Content Filters.

Turn on Filter Inappropriate Websites toggle.

To block specific sites, add their URLs under Blocked Sites.

Grant access to specific sites by turning on Only use allowed websites toggle. Add URLs of approved websites under Allowed sites.

However, I cannot find a 'more options' button anywhere, in any of the hamburger menus or otherwise. I am the family organizer of my account. Could someone help me out as far as what I'm missing?

Actually - I think I have solved it. I went to my wife's account and kicked myself off the family account, then readded myself. Seems to have worked.

This is due to a age restriction on the profile called 'Family Settings'. You have been restricted to play games of a certain age category, therefore you are unable to play online.

As for the issue in-game, I get the error message 'You can't play with content created by others, change your account settings to play', I get it, whenever I try to play with public content, in every game, liveries in Forza, online in msfs, unable to access dovetail live in tsw3, and cities skylines along with many other games. I've tried everything in my power to try and remove those restrictions, and my age restrictions have been changed through Microsoft family there are practically no restrictions on my account at this point, fewer restrictions than on my friend's accounts and none of them have ever had this issue, the only difference would be that they aren't in a Microsoft family group.

Weird, they should remove this restriction or at least allow the adult associated with family be able to allow it.

Have you checked to be sure there's no restrictions on the account? It could be considered a child account. In which case you would need to add it to a family account and remove some restrictions.
