Unable to register Xbox One

Hi all,



I purchased an Xbox One console a couple of weeks ago. Friends suggested I register the console on my Xbox account, so it can be tracked if stolen etc. I have gone through the web form to register my console, adding the required details, including
the serial number of my console.



When I click submit, it displays an error, which I have included below. I've tried using Chrome, Firefox, and IE, on multiple different PC's, and at different locations. Anyone else having the same issue?

i purchased my Xbox one yesterday however after signing up i am trying to now register my Xbox one but after i hit register it displays a message stating unable to register this device, try again later and this is been happening all day ?kindly advice

Hey ChaShaCha! Are you getting any error codes when you see the try again message? Post back and let me know!

 

Sorry to hear it. Please try doing a full clear of your browser's cache to see if that helps. If it does not then you should contact phone support in your region for assistance with registering the console.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I cleared my cookies & cache etc in Chrome, but no difference. Did the same in IE, and it allowed me to submit my console registration.

Excellent. Glad to hear it.

BTW, after clearing everything in IE I think you'll find that it affected Chrome as well so you should be able to access all the pages in that browser too.
