Unable to register for new X-box controller online

The error message kept appearing when I tried to register my new wireless X-box controller

"We are unable to register this device at the moment. Try again in a few minutes."

It appeared every single time I tried to register till the next day.

De-synch an X-Box 360 controller?

Hi,

I recently bought a second X-Box 360 and want to use an old controller with the new X-Box 360, but not have this controller affect the old X-Box 360. I synched the old controller with the new X-Box 360 just fine, but now this controller turns on BOTH X-Box
360s, and I only want this old controller to turn on the new X-Box 360.

Is there any way that I can desynchronize this old controller, so that way it won't interact with the old X-Box 360?

I've been doing a bit of online research, but to no avail. So I turn to this community for assistance.

Anyone have an idea?

You don't need to register controllers individually, you would only need the serial number of requesting a repair. Controllers are considered "accessories" under the console, so if you need to have one repaired or serviced, you would initiate repair via
the console, and then select "Accessory" at the appropriate step. Hope that answers your question!

I'm triying to register in that web, but does not reconize the serial number. Is mandatory to connect the controller to an X-box before regiter it?

I go to that website, and i know my controller is in warranty, it says that Microsoft is unable to register the product at the time. Maybe i should just buy a new controller

i am having the same issue ,but i can play the mecromancer and i can connect with the other x boxes in my house but same thing with being unable to connect to online and unable to dl the comp pack

My mic doesn't even register that it's connected, it just has a picture of a pyramid and a 'We were unable to detect someone's headset' (something along those lines). PS: yes, my mic works perfectly in iPhone and has been troubleshooted 5 x over, and both
controllers and in-box headsets are brand new as my One is only 3 days old. Lol! A multiplayer console and game library where you can't play what you purchased because no mic means no multiplayer. I should have stuck with my Dreamcast.
