Unable to redeem Xbox live 12 month membership code

Hi all,

I am unable to redeem a valid code to extend my xbox live membership, I just checked with my code supplier and the code is valid.

The error message that I receive is the following:

You can’t acquire this item in your currently selected language. Change your language region in Settings or go to microsoft.com//redeem.

I have changed and synced the language region so it is identical to my xbox one and Microsoft account but it still does not work.

Funny thing is when I try to redeem it via xbox one, all goes fine until I receive the following message:

Try that again > Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help. Try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help.

Please help as I am struggling with this for weeks now.

Error Redeeming 12M XBOX Gold

I have tried to redeem a 12 month XBOX GOLD Live membership through my XBOX 1 and online on xbox.com and both systems give me this error.

Along with the language, does the region of your account match your physical locale? Generally the error message is in reference to cross-region accounts which aren't supported.

No. I have only 26 months of Xbox Live gold membership until 2022.04.20..

1 month in xbox one x jedi bundle, 12 months in annual membership, 12 months in redeem code, +1 bonus? month.. total 26 months..

I watched the video and tried to redeem the gift card that way and it will work but what I would like to do considering Xbox Live for 12 months is on sale right now is use this gift card for that but when I go to the Microsoft store and I click on deals
and redeem a code for the 12-month membership at the discounted price at tells me that their code is not found, although it does work the other way which is the 6-month option but I'm aiming for the 12-month
