    Unable to redeem prepaid code


    First of, yesterday i was unable to play during an xbox live downtime, today it tells me to renew my gold membership otherwise i would not be able to play matchmaking or sorts, following up it tells me i can't do that at all, thanks!

    Need help redeeming my xbox live code

    I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

    so what the... what do I do now?

    throws me

    on the website and

    on the console.

    Anyone else unable to redeem?

    Your gamercard on the forum shows you are in fact an Xbox Live Gold member. As for not being able to redeem your code, have you tried entering it in the

    Redeem code     section of the Xbox.com website ?

    If it still says you do not have a Xbox Live Gold membership try deleting your account from the console. Make sure you only delete your account and not the content.

    After that perform a
    powercycle     and download your profile again.
