Unable to redeem Gears of War 1 gift code from Gears of War 4 preorder

I got 2 messages with gift codes for preodereing Gears of War 4 standard edition on oct. 4th. The 1st message contains codes for GoW1 and 3. The 2nd message comes with the code for GoW Judgement. There is no code for Gears of War 2 because it was never released
in Germany but that's not the problem.

Physical and account region is both germany. I preordered Gears of War 4 digitally on the same console on the german xbox live store.

I can't redeem the code for Gears of War 1 code. I Tryed to redeem the code last week and i got this message on XBOX one and the Windows10 XBox app.

"Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. The error has been reordered and we will investigate. Please try to redeem your code later."

Actually the message has changed an I get this message on XBOX ONE and XBOX app on Windows 10.

"Der Code wurde nicht gefunden. Geben Sie ihn erneut ein. Falls das nicht funktioniert, wenden Sie sich an den Händler."

"The code wasn't found. Please try again later. If that doesn't work please contact your dealer."



If I try to redeem the code on xbox.com website. i get this message:

"Ein Problem ist aufgetreten

Versuchen Sie es noch einmal. Wenn es erneut passiert, teilen Sie es uns mit, indem Sie den folgenden Code unter xbox.com/errorhelp eingeben, damit wir es untersuchen können."

" An error occured, please try again. If it happens again, tell us by entering the following code at xbox.com/errorhelp and we will investigate that" But there is no code.



btw. the code for GoW 3 cant be redeemed because i already own that game digitally in this account. That is ok.

The code for GoW Judgement was accepted without any problem.

Cannot redeem Gears of War 1 and 3 that came free with Gears of War 4 on XBOX One

I bought a copy of Gears of War 4 for the Xbox One a while back. It came with free downloads of Gears of War 1-3 and Gears of War Judgement. I was able to redeem Gears of War 2 and Judgment but am unable to redeem Gears of War 1 and 3. And with 3, it says
the code has already been used but it does not appear in my library, whereas with 1, I am simply unable to redeem it. Please help.

i managed to redeem only Gears of War 2 and Gears of War Judgment. Why?Cannot redeem code of Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3

If you check this the game isn't available in Germany as it is advertised it you don't have a buy option. On the page

 

Sometimes games get place holders but it doesn't mean it's available yet

 

It has to be available to meet up in order to be able to download it

If you can find the download or buy link

 

Dont click on the buy link but im just saying if you can't find a buy link that means it not available yet

Gears 3 is available with the buy link but not 1 yet

The buy link confirms if you can redeem the code or not

Ok, then i am wondering why I get a code for Gears of War 1 but no code for Gears of War 2 that isn't available in Germany too.

And you may know that Gears of War 1 Ultimate Edition is officially available in Germany since September 2016. Why is the xbox 360 version not available because it is allmost the same game for an older console?

Anyway, maybe this will change in the future. I will hold the code. But it is not consumer friendly.

Question: A "Gears of War 1" Code is attached to the Gears of War 4 boxed versions for the german market (The boxes with the gigantic red USK18 logos on the cover".

Why is Microsoft doing this, if the GoW 1 Code is not redeemable in Germany?

Weird because gears 2 codes were always redeemable as long as you had another region but that wouldn't help with gears 1 and 3

Gears ultimate got a rating that's why

Gears 1 was refused one

 

Gears 1 originally was refused a rating but usk allowed ultimate unknown if they lifted it for gears 1

 

If you can find a usk version on the german marketplace with a buy option then yes you can download itthats why you should have a look at the link

 

Sorry if there is a buy option yes the code should work or maybe you need the usk specific code

 

Please keep in mind this is the first time a region locked and a ban has been ever lifted on games

 

So I donno what you would do in that situation
