Unable to redeem DLC code from GameStop

Hello, I have been trying to redeem DLC code from GameStop for TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan for Xbox 360 on both the console and PC without any success, and received the below error message. Please help, as I have ensured that I did not make any typo errors.

Nba 2k16 jordan edition missing dlc?

I got the Jordan edition yesterday at midnight at gamestop and redeemed the code on my xbox but have yet to receive the DLC. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

Yeah bro and I'm on PS4. Got the game and added my dlc code on PSN and nothing. It added my 75,000 VC that I bought but nothing from my dlc!! WTF??

 

Hey there, akchan67! I'm sorry to see that you're receiving an error while trying to redeem this code. That error typically shows up when your region and account region do not match. Make sure you've got those set up properly and then try again.

Actually, this is a free DLC code, so I don't believe it is related to my billing information. But I did verify and all is good.

 

Thanks, akchan, for checking for me. Even though it's a free code, the Billing information still needs to be accurate. The system checks there for your region first to make sure everything is all set.

You mentioned this is for DLC. I might have misunderstood what your code is for. When I checked it, it seems to be for the entire game. Is this DLC code for a specific add-on for the game, or for the game itself?

 

This code is for the add-on: Rock and Roll DLC pack that is free with the preorder of the TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan game. I have already purchased the game, and this is the code for just the add-on content. Several years ago, I also preordered another
game and the DLC code for free add-on content worked flawlessly, so not sure why this time is different. Should I go back to GameStop to resolve this issue? Perhaps this code was incorrectly issued.

I believe the code might have been issued incorrectly. I'm not sure if GameStop can resolve this because it's a pre-order bonus (just to set expectations), but it doesn't hurt to try them first. If they give you another code that still doesn't work, we'll
want to look into that.

However, if they don't help you out, we will dig further for you. We just want to make sure we exhaust all of the troubleshooting possible first, and that includes checking in with GS to see if they can help you out.
