Unable to redeem codes for gears of War 3

Hello....I recently bought gears of war 4 for my Xbox one...but I am unable to play gears of War 3...as I cant redeem the codes...it keeps asking me to change my region...I did not try the codes for 1 as I already have the ultimate edition....I live in malaysia....I
would be immensely grateful if u could help me out with this...thank you...

Cannot redeem Gears of War 1 and 3 that came free with Gears of War 4 on XBOX One

I bought a copy of Gears of War 4 for the Xbox One a while back. It came with free downloads of Gears of War 1-3 and Gears of War Judgement. I was able to redeem Gears of War 2 and Judgment but am unable to redeem Gears of War 1 and 3. And with 3, it says
the code has already been used but it does not appear in my library, whereas with 1, I am simply unable to redeem it. Please help.

Gears of War Promotion Code

Hi Xbox Team,

I've received Gears of War 1 - 3 and Judgement codes for playing Gears of War Ultimate Edition.

I was able to redeem Gears of War 2 and Judgement (already have GoW 3 on my account), but I am unable to redeem Gears of War 1. It just says "Something Went Wrong"..

Any help?

That game is region locked. So in order to download it, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to live in a region where the game is available. Since Malaysia is not a supported country, Gears 3 is not available for download
there.

To clarify, are you having issues redeeming your Gears of War 3 code as stated in the title, or are you still in need of Gears of War codes?

If you're having problems redeeming Gears of War 3, please post back the error code you receive so we can look further into the issue.

Same issue for me. I have been able to redeem codes for Gears of War 3 and Gears of War Judgement, but haven't been able to redeem Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 3. I also tried in microsoft.com/redeem with my Xbox associated account and didn't work either.

Could someone advise on how to proceed further?
