Unable to redeem code for Xbox live gold

Good day

I am unable to redeem the code for Xbox live gold 3 month membership card. When I insert the code it informs me that the code has not been activated, but yet I paid for it.

Please get back to me.

Code error

I am unable to access xbox live due to my inability to redeem a code for a 12month gold acount. It has been like this for two days disbite it advicing to try and redeem the code again after a few minutes.

 

You would need to try taking it back to the retailer it was purchased from to have them activate it. If you already have, you will want to contact support. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

I put the code on my microsoft acount to redeem it but when i put it on my xbox acount it says code has been redeemed and i redeemed that code so i need help

 

Just so I understand you put in a code online with your MS account but when you go to your xbox and try and play online or start a party it says you need to buy gold and when you put the code in on your
xbox it is saying it has already been redeemed?

The account that you signed into online to put the code in is it the same Email address that you use for your profile on your xbox?

If not that is the reason why.

You can check what email is associated with an xbox profile on the one by signing into the account and going to settings and under the account tab go to sign in security and passkey and it will tell you
the email thats associated with that account.

You can also check the status of any subscriptions under settings the account tab and go to subscriptions.

If both the email is the same and your subscriptions do show that the live is active you can try doing a power cycle of your console by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds for it to shut
off then unplugging it for about a minute then plug it back in and power it up.
