    I am having an issue which appears similar to others already discussed on this forum and elsewhere, but no solution suggested has worked for me so far...

    Here is my situation: I've got Xbox One and an Xbox Live Gold subscription. I am able to redeem Xbox One Games with Gold and I have no problems buying Xbox One games from my Xbox One console. Whenever I want to redeem Xbox 360 Games with Gold or buy Xbox
    360 games, though, I get stuck, no matter if I try to redeem/buy from the console or through the website.

    The problem appears to be caused by two different billing profiles being associated with my Microsoft account. The first is "CZ - Personal account" - this one is the correct one, has a valid payment card associated with it, and is used by default for all
    my One game purchases. The other is "US - Personal account" - I can't recall ever setting this one up... it has no payment method associated (I would gladly add one, if not for the fact that I would have to lie about my billing address, which is not in the
    US as pre-set in that billing profile) and is unfortunately used by default for all my attempted 360 purchases.

    I have tried everything I could think of, but no matter what I do, I get stuck because when I attempt to redeem or buy a 360 game (from my One console or through the webstore), the purchase process defaults to the US billing profile, complains of no payment
    method/option being associated, and won't let me proceed.

    Any ideas how to get rid of that annoying US billing profile? Or how to switch the default billing profile used for my 360 purchases?

    I don't know what problem is because I can redeem Xbox One games. Someone can help me?

  3. Redeeming 360 games on Xbox one

    I have a gold account and an Xbox One and it is advertised that you can redeem and play both Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. However I am never able to redeem any of the 360 games on my Xbox One and when I try to do so I receive a massage saying "Your account
    is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox" I don't have access to a 360. Is there a way to fix this at all?

    So basically you have a split billing situation

    If you are using a us locale on your console but live in Czech that would be whg you need to use the region migration tool to fix it

    Found under my account and change my region on this website

    However if it doesn't solve it you may have to contact support over the split billing issue

    Hi, I'm not sure if you've tried to change your region via the xbox support pages (live.xbox.com/.../AccountMigration) but it's a good place to start. This can only be done every
    three months but it should resolve your issue and hopefully you won't need to do it again. Apparently it can take 24 hours for the change to happen once the process is complete. Once the default region has been changed, add the relevant billing information
    and you'll be good to go.

    Hopefully this helps resolve the issue for you.

    Thank you so much, guys. It's finally working!

    I have considered "migrating" my account before, but as my console showed the correct location, and my Xbox One purchases were working just fine, I have never actually attempted it, being afraid of messing things (that were working just fine) up.

    Checking your suggestions today, it felt like I was going over stuff I have already checked twice... until I stumbled upon this page:
    account.xbox.com/.../Home - there, it offered an option to "Change
    360 account region", which sounded exactly like what I was in need of. Used that (the link actually took me to the page suggested above by Ra3v3r) and finally gotten everything to work! Yay! \o/

    Gotta say the whole thing is confusing as hell... so happy to have this solved!
