Unable to redeem a gift code from friend on Xbox one.

Hi there, for a few weeks now I’ve been unable to redeem a gift code for a add on (rise of iron on destiny) it was sent through Xbox live and was gifted to me through a friend. Every time I redeem the code it loads and takes me back to the store without
even attempting to try download the add on, I’ve looked on the game itself and it’s not there meaning it hasn’t even gone on my Xbox. I’ve tried redeeming it through the xbox, the Xbox app and the Xbox website and the same thing happens. We are so confused
and would love this sorted ASAP!

Anyone else had this or similar?

Unable to buy Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition

There is no option for my friend to buy Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition from the Microsoft Store app. I then bought him a gift copy of it from this Microsoft Store domain:

However, he did not receive an email with the code. I then found the gift code under my Order History and sent him the code. However, he was unable to redeem the gift code.

So it seems that not only are we unable to play with each other, but we've also sunk $70 into some Microsoft aether.

Please help!

Unable to use amazon code

I just got an email from microsoft saying that since I was an ambassador they gave me a free amazon gift code to use but unable to redeem it as it is invalid

Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you gifted Minecraft for Windows 10 to a friend, but he is unable to redeem the code due to it being from a different region. We have a support article that explains more about

how to resolve issues with gifting a friend a game. The section you want to look at is, "The recipient can't redeem the code." Be sure to let us know the results!

Hello, you are unable to transfer the funds directly to your grandson. You may however purchase a digital gift card that will provide a code that can be redeemed on the Microsoft Store, directly from your grandson's Xbox. I have provided two links. One in
