    Unable to redeem 12month Live code. Error Xbos-0x80169CF9


    I purchased a 12 month Live subscription code, but when I redeem it I get an Error code Xbos-0x80169CF9.

    From the odd description of the error code, it sounds like I can't redeem it because I don't have the credit card I used for my previous Live purchase saved, is that correct? And I believe it's telling me I need to wait for that subscription to expire before
    applying the new code.

    I'd really rather get it done now. Is there any way around this curious restriction?

    I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

    Xbos-0x80169CF9

    Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

    try calling microsoft support or contact microsoft support chat about this issue they should be able to fix this for you

    ChiefJoboo - Are you saying you have to wait for the first sub to expire, then the code will work?

    i received a 30 day code directly from xbox for being loyal for 6 years . input code to redeem. shows exactly what it is 30 day live membership, but when you click to use code comes back with error. this code comes direct from xbox.com in an email. This
