Unable to receive invites or messages

Hello there!

Since about 2 months i can not receive invites or messages. The only pop-up notifications that are shown are system notifications. While I can see messages in the guide-menu after some time, invites are not shown at all. I have made several attempts at
fixing the problem without any success:

-Changing the notification settings (for all notifications and messages specifically)

-Deleting my Profile and downloading it again

-Using a different account to receive notifications

-Hard reseting the console

-Separating the console from power

-Deleting the blu-ray persistent cache

-Performing a factory reset

Another problem that might be connected is that I can't unlock achievements in games that I play via family-sharing.

I'm curently playing on Xbox One X and using Xbox Live Gold via family-sharing.

Okay. I did not receive anything from you so let's try some more troubleshooting. I know you said you've checked your privacy settings already but let's have you toggle them. So starting from your Xbox One console dashboard:

• Open the Guide menu
• Scroll down to settings
• Open All Settings
• Account
• Privacy & Online Safety
• Xbox Live Privacy

If you have custom settings, please select 'Adult Defaults' and then exit the screen. (If you have adult default currently selected, please customize your preferences and change a couple of them.) Next,

power cycle your Xbox One. If you reset everything to default, try sending some messages again. If you toggled things, go back and reset it to default and then send some messages.

Give that a shot and if that still doesn't work, we'll try something else. Let us know!

 

I know you indicated that you performed a hard reset. Try it again and perform it EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
