Unable to read disc/ dirty disc/ do you own the rights?

Ever since the April 14th 2017 Xbox One update....

All of my discs are unreadable or dirty or it asks me if I own the disc to the game I'm trying to launch (which I do) or to see in store? It acknowledges that I own the games are all installed on my console. I've tried everything and maybe every 10 hard
resets Ill get th e disc to read properly. This started with Ghost Recon: Wildlands, the next day after the update all of a sudden none of my installed discs will read! Help me please before I freak out. Does anyone else have this problem? It's ridiculous
all the money I spend on microsoft products and for this to happen is really disappointing/ annoying/ frustrating.

Black Ops 3 not booting up

I put the disc in and it comes up with "Do you own this game or app?" when the disc is in there.
Sometimes it says this disc my be dirty or damaged when it isn't. Any suggestions?

Usually this means that the disc is dirty or damaged and the console is unable to read it. Let's have you try this guide and see if it helps out.

Hey there Player,

It sounds like the disc drive may be having an issue. Is the issue happening with all games, DVD's and Blu ray discs? Give this guide a shot and see if it helps.

Thank you for your answer. The only thing that works is to turn my power settings to energy saving, do a hard power reset, then turn back on and it registers my disc. So wierd Ive never had a problem like this and when my disc does not read it doesn't make
any wierd noises either

Very interesting, it sounds like the drive isn't broken if the issue is fixed with those steps. You may want to check and see is the console is still under warranty and if so, consider repair options if the issue persists. Our online repair site

When you say not loading, do you mean installing or launching?

If the disc is not being read, then the it might be dirty or the drive might be faulty.

If the drive is fine, and the disc is not dirty, then are you getting an error code / message when trying to launch the game?

There is something I have never understood about people and that is, Why is it that whenever they get a disc read error message on their 360 or DVD player they always assume the worst? When at times it can be nothing more than a dirty lens or a dirty disc.

Several times on my 360 I have had it having trouble reading discs and all that was wrong with it was that either the disc was dirty or the lens was dirty. With my DVD lens cleaner it fixed my dirty lens in no time.
