Unable to re-download old digital Xbox 360 game

Hi there,

I recognize this is a long shot.

Way back, I bought Marble Blast Ultra from the Xbox 360 store and loved it. Eventually, that old Xbox died, and the account was deleted due to GDPR as we did not respond to confirm we wanted to keep it.

Now, I have a new Xbox 360, and would like to play the game. However, I don't seem to be able to buy it any more, and I can't access my old account. Is there a way to restore this purchase with my new account to download and play this excellent game? I am happy to provide the details of the old account upon request, but I guess that's not something to post publicly on the forum?

Any help anyone can offer will be appreciated

Unfortunately no. Nothing can be transferred between accounts. The only way to get it on another account would have been to purchase it, but as the game has been delisted, that is no longer possible.

Just bought the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, which does not have a disc drive.

I have a few games that i installed from disc to my Xbox 360, can i now download these onto my new Xbox One, rather than re-purchase them?

I'm not sure you'd be able to play those old 360 titles on your All-Digital Edition Xbox One, unless you own a digital licence for a game, I think it uses the disc to prove ownership.

Hi there,

When you purchase a game digitally, the purchasing account can download it as often they like without have to repurchase it.

Any 360 games that re backward compatible can be downloaded on the Xbox One.

Yeah digital games stay with you. You can delete them and re-download them anytime you want, only on another Xbox 360 of course. You can't sell any digital games to other users.
