Unable to re-download games?

I recently purchased Ark: Survivial Evolved off of the Xbox Marketplace and downloaded it onto my main xbox. However i am for now at a different house with a different xbox that has my Xbox Live account on it. The game (Ark) does not show up in my ready
to install, and the store tries to have me repurchase the game for $35. What do I do to get my game on this xbox without paying for it again?

If it's not in your download history under account management, then you never purchased the game.

Check billing.microsoft.com for a more details on the things you have purchased.

And be sure you are using the account that initially bought the content. Only the account that bought the content will be able to redownload it.

 

Hi Arcul - I think there is a general issue with some purchased DLC at the moment. It's affecting different titles looking at some of the forums. There have been some official comments that say that they're currently looking into it and are suggesting first
doing a hard-reset, power down as normal and then switch off power at socket and remove the power lead from the back of the system for 15 seconds or so. Hopefully they should have a fix very soon, but could be worth submitting a support call.

 

Hi Arcul try it again today, it looks like they have fixed some of the DLC issues, so may also have a bearing on resolving your current issue as well. Hope it's all good for you!
