Unable to re-add my credit card

For the past week I've been desperately trying to re-add my credit card in order to make use of the ongoing holiday sale.

Situation up until the issue occured

I tried to make a purchase on December 23rd, where I was met with an error code. I thought that I should try to remove my credit card and re-add it to see if it would fix what I assumed was just a random bug.

Now I can't re-add my normal, everyday use VISA card that I use for everything else (and was previously attached to my profile and made succesful purchases with over the years). The card worked perfectly until last week, and I made Xbox Live purchases as
recently as December 5th, so it's not a situation where the card hasn't been approved by my bank.

What I've done to troubleshoot:



- Tried to add the credit card via my Xbox One, commerce.microsoft.com and Smartglass apps

- I've tried to add my Paypal account as a last resort, but on the Xbox One I get a error code, and on commerce.microsoft.com I get sent to Paypal where I log in and verify myself where it afterwards kicks me back to commerce.microsoft.com without any sign
of succes

- I spent 50 minutes with Xbox telephone support last night, where I was told by the representative that she would personally take care of the issue and send me a email with a reference number if things hadn't worked out by today. That email never showed
up.

Error codes received

On commerce.microsoft.com I get: 30225-vqXRAgAAAAAAAAAA-472605f9-e91a-4e4f-bd9b-6a2c21aa2e3b

On the Xbox One I get: CP205

What to do



At this point I'm at the end of my wits. Support couldn't help me for the 50 minutes I spent talking to them, and the response I was promised never came. So before I go through that entire process again, I'll see if I can get some help from the team
on the forums or somehow get my email with the case number to magically appear.

No help from xbox

for the past 24 hours i have been unable to add a 3 month gold card to my account, i also tried to use pay pal and credit card and nothing!

i was told to try removing my account from my xbox, power cycle the console then re-sign in. Nothing works Xbox are not helping sort this!!!!!

 

Can't use or add credit card

i'm unable to add any credit card info, it keep saying that my card number is invalid, even i typing it right
