Unable to purchase Xbox One content with account credit

I have called up xbox support on the phone on July 19th and it was escalated. There hasn't been an answer since and my issue certainly hasn't been fixed either. It would be fantastic if someone could take a look into this on the Xbox side.

I can also purchase with my MS Account on the 360 but not XB1.

 

Well just got told by support there is nothing they can do for me... not every happy. Two months of gold for free doesn't make up for the lost money and hours on the phone...

Are you saying that they told you they cannot fix your account and you'll never be able to use your account moment?

 

Same thing here. The money shows up when you check your account online through "payments & billing" but on the Xbox One there is no credit option showing, only credit cards.

Super annoying. So the fix is to "wait?" Awesome.

 

Yes. Basically they told me they can't fix it. I will call back in a few days when I cool off and try again to get my ticket escalated rather than just closed out with a we can't help you...

 

Misses Quinzel I just noticed last night I have the same issue. Credit Card and MS Funds balance is showing on commerce.microsoft.com but when I try to purchase online or on xbox one it doesn't show my 85.00 balance or the credit card. I spoke with chat
support and they didn't know of any issues, they scheduled a call back for me but they called 20 minutes ago when they were supposed to call when I was home but she also told me she didn't know of any issues.

 

Well, 15 days later and four support reps later and despite being escalated to a higher tier, I still can not see my credit cards or Microsoft account on my Xbox One. In the meantime, I see people have their issued resolved and have been compensated & missed
deals honored. Me, not so much. Pretty much told I'm out of luck on anything missed.

Yet still no timeframe or idea what the issue is, when it looks to me that it's a split account, the same as others here have been told. Same issue, same problem maybe?

So yeah, not really a proud Xbox One owner anymore

 

Had this happen to me but not sure when it happened, spoke to support via chat and it has been escalated, was told I should be contacted with 24 hours to 3 business days.

Hope they can sort it otherwise I am out of pocket £75

 

I just randomly checked Xbox.com and buying a game and I'll be damned if all my options for my account were shown, my Microsoft account, my 2 credit cards and paypal. Hope it is fixed for everyone else. I haven't heard back from anyone at Microsoft yet.

Mine started working all of a sudden while I was talking with Xbox Support on Twitter. They wanted one last verification but now i just get the something went wrong error. There is a Service alert but it saying nothing about the xbox store. I also cannot
access on the web, it just times out.

 

My credit just showed up for me on Xbox.com when I go to purchase a game and it also works for the Xbox One. I'm not convinced it's going to stay though so I'm going to purchase the add-on for Outlast & try to deplete the credit as fast as possible. If someone
from Xbox would honor the sales that most of us missed out on that would help a ton too. But since they just pushed an update that reset Xboxes to factory settings I'm guessing they have bigger fish to fry.

Same here mine appears to be working again as well. Hope everyone else is fixed as well. Still waiting to hear back from Microsoft though.

 

I'm good now but no one ever contacted me about being fixed. I'm not complaining just making a note for others to check their accounts to see if things have been straightened out for them as well.
