Unable to purchase Xbox One content with account credit

I first noticed the problem a week ago. Tried to buy PvZ but couldn't use my account credit as it didn't appear as an option. Just this moment tried looked at the Titanfall map pack but again no option to use account credit - please sort it out.

what I did was instead of trying use the card send yourself and digital gift card and redeem it. it will add the money to your Microsoft account and you can buy what you want without having to split the payment

I'm glad to see more people are getting fixed. Hopefully they can work through that list quickly. I forgot to mention I was also given a free month of XBL after they honored the Wolfenstein sale price of the week before.

 

This is so incredibly long past due MS. Folks have missed out on sales & unable to use money that's theirs. This is a class action waiting to happen. I talked to two support people that took my number & haven't heard anything, it's been 2 weeks. I don't
understand why, if my credit shows on the commerce site, it doesn't show up on the Xbox One OR on Xbox.com.

Maybe it will be fixed in time for Destiny?

 

NotsoKrazee At least they gave you a free month. All I got was a " Sorry for the inconvienience " for the past 2 weeks of nothing working. Then my liscenses revoked. I guess I should be happy that I can buy stuff again, but for 2 weeks there, my xbox
one was literally a brick of lost service almost.

 

I'd call and *** for something else. All together I got Wolfenstein for free and a total of 4 months of gold.

 

Got an email today telling me that it had been fixed. I checked and sure enough, my money was there. They gave me 40% off Wolfenstein too. Good enough for me.

 

I called and spoke with someone from the billing and account department on Sat since I still had not heard back from anyone in the Advocacy Team. He looked at my account and he said to him it appeared that it was split and he was shocked nobody had contacted
me yet and he re-escalated the ticket. So hopefully I get a call/email sometime today or tomorrow.

 

I am also experiencing the same problem. Started about 23-24th July. My Paypal account is the only account I'm allowed to purchase with, even though there is money in the microsoft account.

This is affecting xbox one , xbox 360 smartglass and xbox.com purchases.Win8 and Windows phone purchases still access the microsoft account.

Does anyone have a fix for this yet, or is the only fix to contact support and get it fixed on an individual basis?

 

No do it yourself fix. You need to call phone support and have them escalate it to the team who is working on it.

 

I bought an imported Xbox One, since it's not officially released in my country yet (Sweden). I've played quite a lot of Battlefield 4 on my Xbox One, and now I want Premium for this game. Since I can't change the region on my Xbox One to Sweden, and since
I can't add my billing info, I was wondering if I eventually could purchase Premium on my Xbox 360, then somehow get it over to my Xbox One. If someone knows that this works or have transferred Premium earlier, please let me know.

 

I wonder if there's a common thread to who this happened to. Does everyone also have their account on the 360 too? I can purchase from my Microsoft account from the 360, but that's it.
