Unable to purchase Red Dead Redemption or get Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (free with Gold)

Tried first on the computer but got an "uh oh" screen that would just stay there. Figured, let me try doing it on the Xbox One. Same thing. Wanted to get Red Dead while it was on sale but won't let me purchase it.

What comes to mind?

Quite a few games come to the surface -

For Xbox: KOTOR

360: Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemption, Rainbow Six Vegas and Crackdown 1 & 2.

 

Games with Gold

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." message" I was able to get XCOM days before. I can also get/buy free 360 games when I tried right now. It only happens to Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (games with gold)

 

Same thing is happening to me while trying to purchase red dead!

 

Ditto. I get the option to "continue" after selecting my payment option but then I get the uh oh screen

 

It took about a half hour of constantly trying, but the purchase finally went through. Yay!

Purchasing is limited is BS. You can't buy the game on xb1 without a credit card on file or without a 360.

 

Got Rainbow Six Vegas 2 a couple of days ago with no issue. Been trying to buy RDR all day today with zero results.

 

Prime your issue is a completely different issue

Your issue is that you aren't following the requirements of xbox live

There is no fix or work around

Anything that bypasses the requirements of live is a violation of the terms of use

 

I. Order to get xbox 360 games you must have a payment option on file or use a 360

There is no its or buts about it

There must be a transaction even if it's 0.00 it's still a transaction

 

This issue is still not fixed? Really!? I hope the sale for this game at least gets an extension being so many have been unable to purchase it (like me) during this time.
