    Unable to purchase Mature rated games


    I am an adult

    I have no family setting ie child accounts associated with my account

    I am currently unable to purchase any games apps or films and tvs shows rated mature or unrated

    when i attempt to make a purchase a window pops up stating that i need an adult to purchase

    Ive gone extensively thru my privacy and account settings and i made sure my date of birth and personal info is accurate

    suggestions?

    Mature rated games are only 18+ ?

    Well its not an issue buying Mature rated games as i have ID and can go to any gamestore though I'm unable to download Mature content so its counter intuitive to let me, a minor, buy mature rated games but not purchase DLC for said games.

    Age to buy Rated M content in the marketplace.

    Yes it includes Map Packs. Any and all Content Rated Mature. You will not be able to purchase the Season Pass for a Mature Rated Game nor
    any of the DLC.

    Yes everything seems accurate

    However now everything seems normal as it should and im now able to purchase mature content.

    I'm having this exact same issue and nothing I've tried seems to fix it, including the steps in Mister Mascot's link.

    Any other suggestions?

    how do i find the parent account

    Are you certain you can't purchase anything or are you only unable to purchase mature or unrated content? Can you find a game rated E to purchase?

    If you created a child account, it has to have a parent. If it's not a child account, it might still have certain restriction on it. If you go to
    live.xbox.com/.../Settings, there is an option towards the bottom about restricting the purchase of mature WP7 games. Is this option set properly?
