Unable to purchase live hold on my xbox one console. Website has a higher price

Hi,

I've tried to purchase 12 Months of gold on my console. It shows me the price is AUD63.50. However it keeps coming up with "Try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help".

When I go to the website to renew it then shows as AUD79.95

I contacted support by live chat but they seem to have left after telling me it's a promotion that ended in June and that I need to tell preview team about a bug. They say they can't provide me any account credit or anything like that and now won't respond
to me.

Posting here as my call centre is closed for the day and have no other option.

Cannot change 360 online settings to enable me to purchase xbox 360 contents on my Xbox one

I am unable to change my 360 online settings on the Microsoft website to enable me to purchase 360 content on my xbox one. I go to purchase a game and it comes up with a message "your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com, Please complete
this transaction on your Xbox" - However I am already on my xbox

Xbox 10 Year Anniversary Sale Is Full Price Despite Sale

That's the only place I tried to purchase them, although I see the higher price is also on the website.

If you are in the preview program then you should post in the preview forums here

I believe there is/was an issue where you couldn't buy gold from your console if you had the preview dash.

Base from what you have said. It could really be a promotion that ended last June. Preview console seems to have an issue right now with delayed removal of promotions. Unfortunately, if you really wish to get a subscription right now. Getting it through
the web online would be your best bet.

Ah yeah, whoops, forgot to go through preview section.

I thought I'd seen a bug about it too but when I looked in known issues there wasn't anything about purchasing gold. Just adding and removing details.

I'll post this to the preview section as well

I think it's crap that 3 months after launch they drop the price and offer nothing to those who paid full boat when console was released. Now they are offering lower price with a game. For me this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back with my loyalty
to Xbox. Through Xbox Live Microsoft knows who purchased Xbox One's pre-price decrease. In goodwill, they should offer a free digital download or coupon for free game to those who paid the higher prices. Unless they are not worried about the couple of million
consumers who purchased pre-price decrease.
