Unable to purchase live game with gold free game.

I have xbox live gold and I tried to purchase Mirror's Edge.

On console after I click confirm it just went black sceen for a few seconds then jump back to the game page and I don't get the game after checking. I tried on chrome pc, it says "Sorry. Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again."

My account region is US and I physically connect from PRC.

You can only get the free game license/s when you get the Free Games with Gold or hit the Buy $0.00 button. Free Games with Gold changes every month, so if the game you were aiming for were part of the Free Games with Gold before and you were unable to get
it, then the only thing to do now is either purchase the game digitally or wait for it to be free again.

This error would occur because you're not physically in the same location as your account region.

Certain Xbox 360 games are region-locked and it sounds like Mirror's Edge is one of them. You would be unable to download it unless your physical location matched your account region, i.e. you're in the US.

 

What kind of xbox 360 games are region-locked in particular?

 

China is a xbox support region you have to set it to china

Most xbox m rated or triple a titles are region locked
