    Unable to purchase gold: unknown error


    My gold expired a few days ago, I've had gold for several years. I had accidently shut off autorenewal. I'm attempting to purchase gold again so I can play my games and it says the following every time:

    "Try that again

    Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help."

    no error code however is shown. And it has been doing this for a few days. It repeats this message no matter if I choose 1 month, 3 or a year. Resetting the xbox has no effect, nor does logging out then back into my account. Any thoughts on how to circumvent
    this and purchase live would be appreciated.

    It is called Xcom enemy unknown and the error is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete from your Xbox. I'm using my Xbox though

    I am having a similar issue when trying to purchase gold subscription. It is stating there is an unknown error their end but nothing about the issue online . I think the issue is with the online store and it just say try waiting a while .....

    If your attempting to purchase a LIVE membership and are unable to from the website, please try to purchase the gold membership on the console and see what sort of error you get if anything at all.
