Unable to purchase games/dlc's from Canada on Xbox website

Hi,

I've tried several times today to purchase games and dlc's from the Xbox website but have been unsuccessful. I am unable to input my complete address when I enter my credit information. Country is set to United States in the dropdown and is greyed out so
I am unable to change it.

I attempted this in Firefox, Chrome, and Internet explorer from 3 different computers but with all the same results.

Are the Black Friday deals only available in the United States? If so, maybe some clarification on the website would helpful.

My Xbox one account is currently linked with a credit card, but I'm still unable to purchase a backwards compatible game from the store on Xbox one. (Or any of them at all currently) The game in question is Soul Calibur 2 HD, and when attempting to purchase
that from the Xbox website it says , "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox." Is it possible that since this game is only a digital download for the Xbox 360 rather than a disc that
I cannot purchase from the website? Or is it that I do not have an Xbox 360 active anymore?

Doublecheck that your country is set correctly in your >>Microsoft Commerce<< account as well as trying a different browser.

Are you able to make purchases through the console store? If so, you may want to use that as a workaround.

no if you read the purchase description on the gamestop website for US

you need to be physically in the us and redeem the codes on a US account

you will have to purchase from amazon.ca or any canadian etailer (futureshop and gamestop canada both have DLC)

btw grimlike nova scotia isn't UK its canada

Unfortunately it happened again. I managed to make 1 purchase of 2000 points from the Xbox website than proceeded to purchase some DLC. I was short of points so I tried adding from the console and it failed to purchase. Following your steps, I re added the
PayPal account again but this time, I am unable to purchase from the Xbox website or the console.

United States and Canada use the same region code, so I can't see that being the issue. Have you tried to purchase the DLC via the Microsoft website?

Do you see any error messages when you log on to
https://billing.microsoft.com ? I would encourage you to read through this page and make sure all of your information is valid and up-to-date:

forums.xbox.com/.../153161.aspx . If you still encounter the issue after trying these steps I would recommend use PayPal as payment method. They should be able to sort it out for you. Let me know how it goes!
