Unable to purchase Destiny: The Collection Upgrade

I currently own Destiny on my legacy console, and want to upgrade to Xbox One. I have the DLCs on my legacy console. I bought the Xbox One version of Destiny a while back, but was only able to transfer the first two expansions for free. The offer for The
Collection Upgrade is more appealing than buying TTK DLC by itself. My friend was able to purchase The Collection Upgrade last night, but I do not get the option to purchase. It says I must wait until 9/19.

Which upgrade are you wanting? Are you upgrading from legacy console (Xbox 360) or simply wanting to purchase the Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion for your current copy of Destiny (The Taken King or other)?

From the Bungie announcements and description on the Xbox Store it would seem as though the Destiny: The Collection Upgrade is the option for legacy console owners who upgrade to Xbox One , and will be made available soon, whereas the Destiny: The Collection
option is for people wanting to purchase everything currently available as well as the Rise of Iron expansion for when it comes out, so is this the option you are wanting? Or if you are wanting the Rise of Iron expansion exclusively, there is also the option
for that.

I too am having this problem...unable to purchas the destiny: collection upgrade. As I understand...quite a few peple have this same issue.

Okay guys, I found the information from Bungie and they say that players who own Destiny: The Taken King on their xbox360 can upgrade their Destiny content, to Xbox One by purchasing Destiny - The Collection Upgrade.

It is only available for digital purchase and players must upgrade within the same console family (that means going from xbox360 to Xbox One). You also need the Xbox Gamertag that owned the content on the xbox360.

If you have then go to the xbox store and search for Destiny The collection upgrade. Scroll down to the games section and click on Destiny The collection upgrade (it will say bundle underneath it).

Look in the top right hand corner of the page and sign in.

Look at the grey box where it said "coming soon", it should now show you the amount that it will cost to purchase it.

From there you just need to click it and buy it.

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron individually, the account you are attempting to purchase it on must own Destiny: The Taken King and all prior DLC's. If you own the DLC on a separate account, you will not be eligible for the upgrade price and will
need to purchase Destiny: The Collection.
