    Unable to purchase Borderlands 2 collection


    Every time I attempt to purchase it, I keep getting the message: Try your purchase again. Something went wrong while completing your purchase

    I have more than enough funds in my LIVE account. I can't try to purchase something else, as I don't want to buy anything else at the moment, so unable to say whether it's just the Handsome Collection that I'm having issues with.

    I've recently started to play Borderlands 2 on the Xbox 1 again, and have a buddy who got the Handsome Collection. I'm unable to invite him to a game lobby, and whenever he invites me, it takes me to the Xbox Store to purchase the Handsome Collection. It
    says that I have not purchased the game, even though I have put in many hours through backwards compatibility (I only have Borderlands 2, and not the Handsome Collection). Do we both have to be on the Handsome Collection to be able to connect?

    Backwards Compatibiliy questions

    I know that Xbox One has Borderlands: Handsome Jack Collection, which contains Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. However, I currently own Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on XBox 360. Borderlands 2 is backwards compatible, while
    the Pre-Sequel is not. Is there a plan to make it Backwards Compatible? and what is the ETA? I don't think it is fair to make me purchase the Handsome Collection after purchasing these 2 games. Please let me know what Xbox is planning to do.

    The Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC is not included in The Handsome Collection. You will have to purchase this separately.

    Hey there.

    Borderlands 2 is not currently on the list of Backwards Compatible titles. Until that happens, your Xbox 360 version will not work on your Xbox One. You can voice your support for it being added to the list by going to

    xbox.uservoice.com/.../8379849-borderlands-2     and voting for it.

    In the mean time, if you'd like to play Borderlands 2 on the Xbox One, it's available as part of the Borderlands Handsome Collection - but yes, that would require an additional purchase. store.xbox.com/.../e964ec04-a2c3-492f-99eb-16e7f61b6869
