I purchased my Xbox One yesterday, and it works perfectly. However, every time I try to purchase something, and am told my privacy settings don't allow me to. My settings are set by a parent account, and despite them being set for me to purchase 'anything',
I am still restricted. I have sought help online form Xbox, but they are still unable to help. Has anyone had this problem and solved it????

Parental control error HELP

Only On Forza motorsport 4 when I try do anything user which contains user generated content, It says" Unable to use this feature per xbox live parental contols settings"

I have never had parental controls settings In use. I have set parental controls settings and then removed them which does not solve the problem. I have re downloaded my gamertag on my console which does not solve the problem.

This only occurs on forza 4 and I have posted on their forums and the general replies where to post on the xbox forums please can someone help.

Purchases blocked despite settings allowing me to

Hello! I picked up my Xbox One on the 22nd (loving it by the way) and redeemed the codes on my receipt for season passes and whatnot. These codes grant me microsoft credit to buy said passes but when I try to purchase them, it declares that I cannot purchase
them, or anything for that matter, due to my settings not permitting me to despite the relevent setting being set "anything"(I do have a child account, age 17). If anyone could help me with this problem I would be most appreciative.

What are you trying to purchase on the console? How old are you? Remember that even if your parents give you permission to buy items you still may not be able to due to age restrictions.

Also, have you tried purchasing the items you want on the website here? If it works you can just head over to the console to download them.

I was trying to purchase Worms Battleground, but I've been refused to purchase any DLC content. I know its not age restrictions because I'm 15, and Worms is a 12. Thanks for the tip about the website, I've never used it to buy a game before though.

It says I must change my settings to allow the purchase, but my email is the main email for my account, I have tried to get my parents to sign on with there email and it won't let them, I tried to change my setting with that link but it says a parent needs
to do it but they are unable to, i bought a prepaid card to put on the Xbox to then buy something but I am unable to

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are unable to purchase Xbox Game Pass on your son's account due to account restrictions. Is your son playing on an Xbox One or Xbox 360? A child account may have it's ability to
purchase items restricted by a parent account. You must have a parent account and

put the child account in a family. Once the child account has been added to the family, you can go to the

online privacy & online safety settings with the parent account and allow the child to complete a purchase. After the purchase is completed, you can log back in to the online privacy & online safety settings with the parent account and restrict any purchases
again. We hope this helps!

It means that because of your age restrictions (set on your account) you are unable to purchase such content, ask your parents to change the settings set for your profile so you can purchase it.
