    Unable to play Xbox live gold subscription games


    Hello

    I'm having trouble launching any games downloaded from the xbox live gold subscription category.
    I receive error 0x803f800f (requiring a subscription), I've confirmed that I have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with everything up to date and no issues launching anything else.

    I've tried power cycling my console (Xbox series S), clearing cache, other/no profiles, uninstall/reinstall games & profiles, restoring settings, Tried my old Xbox Elite.

    I should mention "My Home Xbox" is on my brothers Xbox, his profile does not not have any active subscriptions.

    Hi Sh69xu,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. With games that you get from games with gold the free titles. When you lose the subscription, you are unable to play these games until you get an Xbox live gold subscription again. Any games that you pay for, you are able
    to play them anytime you like even without Xbox live gold subscription.

    Thanks for checking, Gunnar. Are you subscribed to Xbox game pass Ultimate, or just Xbox Live? Ultimate game pass subscription includes Xbox live, and EA play. If you only have an active Xbox Live Gold, I am afraid you'll be unable to play the game.

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this inquiry. I understand you're Xbox Live Gold subscription has expired and you're wondering why you are unable to play Fortnite multiplayer online. The reason for that is that the Xbox Live Gold subscription
    is what gives you access to play online multiplayer from your Xbox One. You would have to renew you're subscription to access the online features of the game. Hope this information helps

    Thanks for coming to the forums. If you are trying to play the games with gold without a Xbox live subscription. You are unable to play them without a subscription. These games are available if you have an Active subscription. This could be why you are getting
    this error. Which device are you on? Are you connecting online?

    Are the other games that you're playing free-to-play games? They are indeed not requiring an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
