    Unable to 'play to' from my Windows 8.1 computer


    My Xbox one doesn't show up in the 'devices' field. When I click 'add a device' only my Sharp TV shows up.

    I can confirm they are on the same internet network, and the 'play to' option is checked in the Xbox One settings menu. My computer is connected to the wireless router, and my Xbox is hardwired into the wireless router.

    On a fresh 'non-energy saving' restart, the Xbox one shows up as an option to play to on my HTC One M8, but after about a half hour of this service not being active, the Xbox needs a full restart in order to show up on that list again. It has never shown
    on my computers 'play-to', though I have had the console since March of 2014.

    Any help would be really appreciated!

    play events on windows 8.1

    My computer crashed and now using windows 8.1. Only thing I really miss is playing microsoft solitaire collection events. Is there any way to play in them on 8.1 system?

    Hi dude, get shure that you have the App "Xbox Video" installed on your Xbox?

    this is a must have for this Option...!!

    Hi,

    You should first make sure the computer is properly set up:
    windows.microsoft.com/.../use-play-to

    If it still is not working, please try to disable the windows firewall to see if it is blocking the access.

    I was told to change the name of my Xbox to anything other than the default. This then showed up on my computer.....but now it's randomly disappearing. Only an energy saver restart brings it back but only sometimes.

    Whether your assumption is right or wrong, I do not know. But in my case I have problems with Microsoft Jackpot on 2 computers. One running on Windows 10 and one running on Windows 8.1 Pro. The one on Windows 8.1 was first also upgraded to Windows 10, but
    I was unhappy with it and returned this computer to Windows 8.1. The main reason was that Acer did not support Windows 10 for the Acer Iconia W 700 P.

    In my case the regio for both computers is the same, the same as for my Microsoft account.

    I would be playing this game if it ran smoothly. It is not my computer, because this is the only game app from XBOX games that runs terrible and has issues with Windows 8.1. I have been playing Mahjong, because of this game not being fixed right yet.
