Overwatch won't update!

I just installed Overwatch over the weekend, and never actually got to play it because the internet is so bad here it simply did not download until today. Then, when i woke up to go and play it; it said it was installed, but needed an update. I was relatively
irked but thought i could wait a little longer for it, but when i try to start updating it; it says "Overwatch: Origins Edition needs an update, but something went wrong. For help, visit xbox.com/xboxone/update/help", and that link only brings me to update
help for if something went wrong with a system update. I've tried everything i can think of; and i was wondering if someone could help!

I think what they are saying is the game won't run without a patch, but the Xbox Game Pass for PC version is not updating. There is no update option, and after running MS Store download update, there is nothing there about a patch.

How do we update the game so it will work?

some of my games won't work after i downloaded the update

campers own this game that's why overwatch got picked.. im not surprised nor bothered as i won't play it.
