Unable to play online

I recently renewed my gold for xbox live however whenever i go to access any online/multiplayer feature of any game I am greeted with the message "the current profile is not allowed to play xbox live..." i have never had this issue before. I waited 24hours
after subscribing to gold and still had the same issue. I went to my network settings and found my NAT type was unavailable, i tried to troubleshoot this issue by going into my port forwarding settings for my router and enabling the teredo port while having
UPnP turned off and still couldn't fix the problem. I have a telstra gateway modem and when i go into its interface i have no options to enable/disable tunneling or to turn on and off ivp6. Can anyone help please???

Unable to play online?

I recently had to update my credit card for automatic renewal (even though my subscription expires in November 2012.) However, It seems like it never saves the updated information. When it does log me in it says that I have no friends, even though I have
~50. Also, it says the Party feature is blocked. It's as if I have extremely strict security settings but I have an adult account. I'm also "Unable to play online" whenever I try to play online game.

would someone please take the time to look at my account and tell me why i have been banned from online playing, there has been no mod no hacking no rubber bands so whats going on.

Check the
privacy settings of your profile ("Xbox One Online Safety" section) and verify that the "Join multiplayer games" option is active.

It sounds like they were unable to charge your account for some reason so you've been suspended from Live until they can get the payment. But if they did infact charge you for it in August, you'll still need to call them so they can take off the suspension.

This may be a NAT issue like I had. When online check your connection settings to see what type of NAT you have. There are 3 types: strict, moderate & open. Open is the least restrictive of the three. Mine was strict and I could never join in on the league
races until I changed it. Net search "xbox one change nat" and you will be presented with a number of sites offering a solution. If you aren't tech savvy pick one which you find easy to understand as it can seem a very daunting process. Get it right and you
will be punching the air like I was!
