    Unable to play online with multiple friends.


    My 3 friends and I cannot play any multi player game online, 2 players works fine but the 3rd person cannot join. All our NAT types are open, We've tried everything, Any ideas?

    (GTA V online and Dying Light are the games we tried)

    Unable to play online with friends?

    On top of clearing the system cashe, which can fix most issues there is another step.

    Test your xbox live connection, this forces you to sign out, and the test refreshes information from the xbox live servers.

    Upon logging back in your profile will update all information on it, so your new subscription should be active.

    Added note, when you have a Trial code active on the account, and you add a 1-3-12 month subscription to the account it doesn't stack with the trial code and actually eats it up. Nom nom nom.

    the 14 day trial be be different then a full gold membership, you should be able to see which is active at
    http://billing.microsoft.com

    If the gold subscription is active, it sometimes can take some time before the update reaches the console, to speed this up clear the consoles cache:

    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    Hello,

    Could all 3 of you try the following.

    1. Press the Home button
    2. Press the Menu button (right from the home button),and select
      Settings
    3. Click on Disc & Blu-ray and select
      Pe
      rsistent storage
    4. Clear this 3
      times

      (3 is the magic number)
    5. Return to Settings and select Network
    6. Select Advanced settings and go to Alternate
      MAC address
    7. Hit clear and it will prompt you to restart your Xbox
    8. Select restart

    I just gave you troubleshooting steps for the Xbox One, if you are using the 360 please say so for new steps
